Implementing a Manufacturing Execution System is often seen as disruptive, typically requiring planned downtime. However, with careful planning, strategic execution, and robust risk management, it is possible to roll out MES solutions without halting production. This session explores the strategies and best practices from successful MES deployments that maintained operational continuity, minimized risk, and ensured regulatory compliance. Participants will gain insights into practical considerations and decision-making processes that make a shutdown-free MES rollout achievable. In this session, you will learn how to:
I am passionate about enabling next-generation digital solutions. My professional experience in technology is diverse: I have designed and coded leading-edge web software for engineering systems, led projects and programs to build and deploy manufacturing execution systems, advanced analytics, and data visualization software, and evangelized global digital initiatives. Every project involved learning new technology, strategizing how to gain the most value for the organization, and how to get very different systems to talk to one another.
My soft skills complement these activities, with a focus on communication, team leadership, a thirst for learning and readiness for rapid change. I also have an eye for process improvements and focusing a team on the critical path items.
