Oscar Antunez holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago and currently works at AbbVie as the Reliability Manager, CMRP, CRL, RMIC, CMRT.

Through Oscar’s 15+ year career, he has gained valuable experience in reliability and leadership from his work in the chemical, packaging and pharmaceutical fields.

He is currently a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Processional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) and Reliability and Maintainability Implementation Certification (RMIC).

The pop in your job: The pop in my job is the people, Reliability cannot be sustained if the people don’t buy into it. The drive and passion for me is that I am making an impact on the culture and safety, a reliable plant is a safe plant. The work that we are doing is making it safer for everyone and its allowing them to have time since equipment emergencies are minimized.
