Ray McKinney is responsible for NNIT’s US-West deliveries, managing teams covering IT quality assurance, quality records authoring, systems validation, and disaster recovery. He has supervisory and hands-on experience with deploying several SaaS systems including Veeva Quality, ComplianceWire, and TraceLink.
His experience in the pharmaceutical industry goes back to what may have been the first ever implementation of the GAMP guide in 1995. After gaining first-hand experience of commissioning and deploying automation systems for pharmaceutical equipment firms, he specialized in quality systems development. Joining NNIT in 2012, his more recent work has focused on developing the managed-service delivery model. Ray is a native of Glasgow, Scotland and holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA from Columbia University. Now resident in the San Francisco bay area, when he is not working Ray can be found on a stand-up paddleboard or hiking.
